This PalliCHAT will review what an ethics consultation contributes to the complex patient scenario, multi-disciplinary team discussion and decision-making. Many don’t have the luxury of ethics committees or consultations and rely upon the shared principles and practices learnt in palliative care. However, there are advantages of these services being distinct.
