We’re proud to share the release of this first-of-its-kind handbook, authored by Dr Barbara Matthews and Dr Craig Geoff Howes in collaboration with PALPRAC.

“A Handbook for Building a Remote Access Palliative Care Practice in South Africa: Enhancing Access to Palliative Care Using Virtual Solutions” provides practical, experience-based insights into expanding palliative care through virtual and hybrid models – tailored for the South African context.

This is not a “how-to” guide, but a reflective, working document designed to inspire flexible, patient-centred solutions where geography and access remain key challenges.
